Ahmed was previously working as Sr. Director - Strategy, Risk & Excellence, Head - Information security and Compliance & CISO Role in various Dubai / U.A.E Government Entitities and is a prominent speaker and cyber security expert in the MENA region; Ahmed is also the founder of CISO Council and Digital Risk Alliance

He brings to his current role more than 14 years of experience in Risk Management & Compliance, and Information Security Advisory Services; He has previously worked on projects for Major Airlines, Banks, Defense and Federal Agencies across the Middle East. He is the Chief Architect for CGMS (Corporate Governance Management System) and ITGMS (IT Governance Management System) frameworks covering Risk Management, IT Governance, Information Security, and Business Continuity in service providers and government entities. He has been a key member of eSecurity domain within Interstandards (Web Security Standard) developed regionally and also been part of OISSG.

Ahmed Baig has a Master’s in IT (UK) and PgD in Strategic Business IT (UK) and has several professional certifications to his credit some of which are CRISC, CBCP, CISM, CISA, CISSP, ITIL, ISO 27001 / 20000, BS 25999 and others.

Haroon Sait
Chief Business Officer

Haroon Sait is the CBO and a seasoned business leader bringing with him over 35 years of experience in providing strategy planning, operations management and sales leadership across Retail & Distribution of FMCG and Premium home appliances. Prior to Emirsec Haroon has held Executive roles at Switz Group, Jalsi Food Factory, and Jalsi Trade & Marketing. He has extensive exposure to the GCC subcontinent and is well versed in trade and business regulations in this region. Haroon has a Keen eye for spotting market gaps & opportunities and has been a key contributor in growing business through: Launching new products, expanding reach across geographies & regions, developing winning partnerships have been his areas of strength.. Haroon has Bachelors in commerce from Madras University, and has attended a crash course with IMD Lausanne, Switzerland.

Jaffer Khan
Director - Global Business Development

Jaffer has served SmartGlobal as Director and has been previously involved in international business with experience managing various companies in Travel & Hospitality, IT and Bio Tech industries. His current role includes as a Managing Director of Sototrip and Orris lifescience and was previously associated with various other ventures. He was associated with FirstRing from its inception in early 1999 and managed the majority of its early development in India. He was Vice President, Performance Development as well as designing and developing the strategically important Performance Development Department.

He also owns and operates Hyatt Travels Pvt Ltd. a family-owned international businesses that is still operating successfully. He is also a share holder in a hi-tech travel company established in 1997 with online travel portal providing business travel solutions to large corporate under sototrip.com. As Development Director his main responsibilities were focused on exploration, strategic planning, raising capital, set up and implementation, and sales and marketing.

Jaffer Khan is also a co-founder and chairman for Orris LifeSciences Pvt Ltd. established in February 2014, to pursue agriculture-based business opportunities. In addition, He has held public relations and marketing positions at prestigious agencies. Jaffer graduated from Bangalore University.
